A special education student from Bonnabel Magnet Academy High School was found walking along I-10 near the school this morning after a concerned citizen called in to report the incident. At around 11:10 this morning, a 14-year-old boy was found along I-10 at the highway's intersection with Williams Blvd., about a mile away from the school.
Louisiana State Police responded immediately and returned the student to his caretakers at the school. Upon his return, it was discovered that he was a special needs student at the school. The student is in good health, but Bonnabel has not returned calls for comment on the incident. Stay with NOLA. com as this story develops.?
