If you've seen the movie, The Lion King, you know that Simba was the title character. He was handsome and his mane was luxurious. Our Simba isn't a lion but check out that gorgeous long-haired fur. Simba is only twelve months old but his life has not been a royal life. When we met him at the shelter, his fur was covered in mats and he was about to be euthanized because he hadn't been socialized. When he came into the yard at the shelter to meet us, he was scared., walking cautiously with us. Then he met Fyre (a very good doggie greeter) in the yard and did great, dog to dog. It took a bit longer for him to connect with us. Then we saw a little wag of the tail and we knew that Simba should come home with us. Later when he stepped out of the doggie limo at the kennels, he was already a different dog. His tail was wagging. He was giving kisses. And not only was his head held higher but Simba was prancing! Simba needs a patient, loving family. No children please. Please visit http://www.coastalgsrsd.org/ <http://www.coastalgsrsd.org/> to learn more about our dogs.
