World affairs | Is this the world's best Dad?

Dave Engledow is creating quite the family scrapbook as he aims to prove he is the world's best father.

Doting parents can be forgiven for becoming snap-happy when they want to capture their children's youth, but one father has taken a different twist with his photography, capturing some hilarious moments with his young daughter.

Dave Engledow told the Huffington Post that the first shot was taken when the toddler was just eight weeks old. He wanted to capture the moment of being a clueless father while using the prop of a mug saying ?World?s Best Father?. Initially it was to be a single shot, but as the ideas grew, a scrapbook developed.

?The character I portray in this series is intended to be a parody of the father I hope I never become - distracted, self-absorbed, neglectful, clueless, or even occasionally overbearing,? he told the website.

He assures readers that Alice Bee was never in any danger during the photos and that it was all in the name of fun.

?I want the style to alert people to the fact right away that this is supposed to be funny.?

We think they are hilarious but we are sure there are fussy parental associations out there that may not be too pleased. You can?t please everyone.
