is Health and Physical Fitness the same as physical therapy?

i plan to go to umass boston (since the tuition is cheap) and major in Health and Physical Fitness
-is that the same as physical therapy?
-if not what exactly is it?
-how much do they earn?
for a describe on college board it says ?Students of health and physical fitness learn how to promote and research physical fitness. They also learn how to help people become better athletes. Classes cover such topics as motivation, sporting rules, exercise techniques, and injury prevention.

PTs work mostly with people with injuries. It is a clinical doctorate. It takes 6-7 years after hs. www.apta.org.

What you describe is a personal trainer. They do not even need a degree just passing a weekend certification course. They make very little money.
